How to Create the Best Megabonk Build

Step 1: Choose Your Character

Each of the 24 playable characters has unique passive abilities and base stats. S-tier characters like offer powerful passives that can define your entire build strategy. Consider your playstyle - do you prefer high DPS, survivability, or utility?

Step 2: Select Your Weapons (6 Max)

Weapons are your primary damage source. Focus on synergies between weapons - some weapons share damage types or benefit from the same stats. Check the weapon database for detailed stats including base damage, attack speed, projectile count, and pierce values.

Step 3: Add Passive Items (6 Max)

Passive items boost your stats and enable weapon evolutions. The key is matching items to your weapons - each evolved weapon requires a specific passive item. Our simulator automatically shows when evolutions become available.

Understanding the Stats Panel

The stats panel on the right shows your build's calculated performance:

  • Effective DPS - Your total damage per second, including crit chance and damage bonuses
  • Survivability - Combined defensive score from HP, armor, evasion, and sustain

Are my builds saved automatically?

No, you need to click the "Save Build" button to save. Builds are stored in your browser's local storage, so they persist across sessions but are specific to your device.

Can I share builds with friends?

Yes! Click the "Share" button to copy a URL that contains your entire build. Anyone with the link can load your exact character, weapons, and items.

What does the Build Rating mean?

Build Rating (S/A/B/C) is a composite score based on DPS, survivability, and utility stats. S-tier builds typically have high DPS with good defensive options. Aim for at least A-tier for challenging maps.

Why doesn't my evolution show up?

Evolutions require both a specific weapon AND a matching passive item. Make sure you have both components selected. The "Evolutions Ready" section appears automatically when valid combinations are detected.
