All 20 Megabonk characters ranked from S to C tier. Each character is evaluated based on their passive ability, base stats, build versatility, and late-game scaling.
S-Tier: Meta-Defining
The absolute best characters in Megabonk. These characters have game-breaking passives, excellent scaling, and dominate in almost every situation.
Highly recommended for both new and experienced players.
Gamba: Gain a Random Stat per level. Rolling dice can permanently increase crit chance.
Crit Happens: Gain 1% Crit Chance per level. Starts with shield instead of high HP.
Stonks: Gain 1% Gold Gain per level. Converts gold into power.
Flex: Flex to stop damage. Cooldown -0.2s per level. Perfect for AFK builds.
RNG Blessing: Gain 2% Luck per level. Higher chance for legendary drops.
S-Tier Analysis
The S-tier characters all share one thing in common: passives that scale infinitely with levels. Dicehead's random stat gains, CL4NK's crit chance stacking, and Megachad's flex cooldown reduction all become increasingly powerful as you progress.

Great choices for any player looking for reliable performance.
Reinforced: Gain 1% Armor per level. Best character for beginners.
Lock in: Deal more damage on lower HP. Gain 2 Thorns per level.
Shadowstep: Execute enemy upon evading. Gain 0.5% Evasion per level.
Speed builds up over time, halved when damaged. Gain damage based on speed.
Warrior: Gain 1.5% Damage per level. High base stats.
Zap: Charge electric attack by moving. Gain 2% pickup range per level.
Vampire: Gain 1% Lifesteal per level. Excellent survivability.

Monke Grip: Climb up walls. Gain +2 Max HP per level.
Bullseye: Random enemies marked. Gain 1% Crit Damage per level.
Float: Hold Jump to float. Gain 1% Airborne Damage per level.
Enduring: Gain 1% Size per level. Increase damage per frozen enemy.
Plague: Poisoned enemies explode on death, poisoning nearby enemies.
Quantum XP Theory: Gain 1% XP Gain per level.
C-Tier: Situational

How to Choose Your Character
New Players
Start with Sir Oofie (default) or Megachad. Both are forgiving characters that let you learn the game mechanics without dying constantly. Sir Oofie is available immediately.
AFK/Idle Builds
Megachad is the undisputed king of AFK builds. His flex ability combined with thorns and healing allows for completely hands-off gameplay.Athena is a good alternative with her thorns scaling.
Maximum Damage
For highest damage output, CL4NK with a crit build is unmatched.Dicehead can also achieve insane damage through lucky stat rolls. Both require understanding of crit mechanics.
Speedrunning
Tony McZoom and Calcium are the top picks for speedruns. Their movement speed bonuses let them clear maps quickly and dodge effectively.
Gold Farming
Robinette is designed for gold farming with her gold gain passive. Pair with gold-increasing items for maximum efficiency. Great for unlocking expensive characters and upgrades.
