Item Selection Strategy
General Priority Order
- Items that enable evolutions for weapons you have
- S-tier tomes (Luck, Cooldown, Damage)
- Items that synergize with your character passive
- Defensive items if struggling to survive
- Fill remaining slots with highest-tier available options
Passive Items vs Tomes
Passive Items provide flat stat bonuses and often enable weapon evolutions. Tomes provide percentage-based bonuses that scale better into late game. A balanced build usually has both types.
Build-Specific Recommendations
- Crit Builds: Prioritize items with Crit Chance and Crit Damage. Luck items also help with crit calculations.
- Tank/AFK Builds: Stack HP, Armor, and Regeneration items. Consider Thorns items for passive damage.
- Speed Builds: Movement Speed and Cooldown Reduction are key. Pickup Range helps collect XP while moving.
- Gold Farming: Gold Gain items plus Luck. Robinette character pairs well with these.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- - Taking items that don't synergize with your weapons
- - Ignoring evolution-enabling items for immediate power
- - Stacking only offensive items without any defense
- - Not checking item tiers before picking
Evolution-Enabling Items
These items are extra valuable because they enable weapon evolutions. Keep an eye out for them when you have compatible weapons.
